i also have thick hair. the longer your hair the thinner it looks. dont make it short unless u have lots of layers. u can also get it chemically relaxed it cost like 120 but its worth it.

Leave it straight. the more you put layers in it or thin it out, they puffyer it gets. I have VERY thick hair and I just use a straightner on it.
